My wife left me for a yogi man. Apparently he can do things I just couldn’t (touch his toes I’m assuming). I just purchased this yoga mat with the hopes that I one day too could be as good as Cameron. The mat is true in every way, unlike my ex-wife. Although it does a superb job of whisking away the droplet’s of sweat that fall from head, it does little for the tears that fall from my face. If you’re worried about the plushness of this product fear not, It is perfect to lay down on the backseat of your ’03 GMC yukon, which I cam currently living out of. I ordered the color Grey because lets be honest, nothing matters anymore. I would like to thank the maker of this mat for helping me get back on my feet.Read more

I got this one because I needed a yoga mat. It’s not my first mat and I got this one simply because I read so many great reviews about the product. Therefore, I decided to give it a try and the product didn’t turn out to be what I expected. The packaging was great though! I have only used it for couple times and it shed SO MUCH already and I feel like I need a better mat. I feel so embarrassed when I’m at the gym, I have to clean up my own pinky sheds after my workout…. (see my picture). I believe there are better quality yoga mat out there. If you are looking something for a long term, this is probably not the one for you.Read more

I bought this mat to use for my workouts at home and to replace the yoga mat I’ve had for 5 years that was starting to come apart. I used it one time and after a 30 minute core workout, a few twists and turns, and some standard downward dogs – the mat was literally falling apart. The rubber where my feet were was just shredded and little holes were starting to form. To be clear, I was wearing sneakers – but that shouldn’t have made a difference because I’ve been doing this same workout on another mat that I’ve had for a long time and that didn’t happen. This is a cheap, poorly made mat and I would not recommend it at all. If I hadn’t thrown the box away I would have returned this right away. Lesson learned. Save your money and buy a more expensive mat that will last you a long time.Read more

I should have paid more attention the one star reviews! This is a terrible mat. I own a Jade Harmony that I use for hot vinyasa classes at my yoga studio. However, I wanted a mat that I could use in my home gym which is in my garage, and I didn’t want my Jade mat getting all dirty/dusty on the gym flooring we have in there. So I bought this one, mainly based on the price and the high overall rating.Well, in this case, unfortunately, you get what you pay for. I just bought this, and used it maybe 6 times at the most, and it’s already falling apart (see photo). It’s crazy because I used to have one of those old-fashioned dark blue thin yoga mats (old-school yogis, you know what I’m talking about); it lasted for YEARS, and I think I paid like, 20 bucks for it. I was not so lucky this time around.I don’t write a lot of reviews, but wanted to warn people away from this one. Maybe it was manufactured better in the past, but as of this writing (Jan. 2019) it’s just a piece of junk/landfill. Such a shame.Read more

This mat is horrible. I haven’t had it long and it leaves little pieces behind sometimes after I work out. Today I got up from doing floor work at an exercise class and at the top (where my head was) there were SO many little pink pieces plus a bunch on the floor. Ordering a new one tonight to prevent that embarrassment again. I am surprised of all the good reviews. I wonder why mine was so bad?Read more

The mat came wrapped in plastic with a 2-year warranty card included. The carry strap is made of 2 elastic loops (which easily slide on and off the rolled mat) connected by a solid strap. I doubt the strap is included in the warranty, but the elasticity of the loops is quite impressive and may indeed last 2+ years, and can certainly be used with other mats. The mat is made of a supportive yet soft material. After one 20-minute use at typical room temparture and humidty, the mat did not lose its soft support, nor did it feel slippery. One of the photos in my review shows how the material is a bit like memory foam (I’m hoping the marks from the carry strap dissipate). The mat I received is the same width as an elitist brand mat, although an inch shorter. When I first removed the platic wrapping, the mat had a strong chemical odor (formaldehyde most likely). The smell does seem to have subsided after leaving it open for an hour or so, and will likely be unnoticeable after regular use.In short, the mat is good quality for a low price, and definitely a worthwhile buy for anyone looking to dip their toes into a yoga practice.Read more

Affordable, easy yoga mat. I use it for more strength and core movements (pushups, burpees, bridges, lunges, etc) and also use sneakers on it often. I had one before that definitely could have been replaced sooner due to flaking of the material – but I had it for 3+ years and it was used constantly – including a lot of tension or scraping because of using with sneakers, so it’s understandable it began to fall apart and flake. For the beating that I put on these mats, I honestly think it’s a great price even if I had to replace them every couple of months. I like to have at least two at all times so that I can disinfect/clean one and always have another for use with clients who don’t have their own. It’s also just thick enough to provide cushion and support on the hands and feet, though if you’re doing a lot of movements where the weight is all on your knees or elbows, you’d probably need a little extra padding (I will often just fold the mat in half and it works just fine). The holder is a great thing to have too 🙂 highly recommend (love the purple color too! I had the blue before). Thanks!Read more
