I was hoping these gloves would be a more comfortable option than the biking gloves is been wearing to do yoga. Unfortunately my hands slid forward in the gloves making them painfully dig into the skin between my fingers. I almost immediately took them off and switched back to my biking gloves. Maybe if your hands were much bigger and the gloves fit more tightly they’d work better (they did grip the mat). I’m doubtful though. Read more

Purchased because my hands tend to sweat and I end up sliding in certain yoga positions. These gloves actually make it more uncomfortable when in downward dog. It stops my hands from sliding, but the gloves itself doesn’t have grips on the fingers so the fabric continues to slide and cuts into my fingers at the base. Read more

I’ve spent so much on yoga mats to not slide and no matter what, I slide. So I got these gloves and it really has solved the problem. I truly enjoy them and have been making them a standard part of my yoga practice. I would give them a 5 star review, but I can’t for one fact. I wear a ring size 8. Not the smallest, but furthest from the biggest. And yet, these gloves are very tight on my fingers. This factor alone has made me struggle to bring them into my practice. If the gloves maybe came in two sizes, one for people with bigger hands and fingers and ones with smaller hands and fingers. There is no way I could see a man fitting these. Read more

I suppose you get what you pay for, these are definitely cheaply made and they aren’t very secure on my hands when in certain yoga poses, but down dog I’ve noticed these hurt my hands because they start cutting into the crevice of the inside of my fingers. Kinda sucks Read more

It was a surprise, a little bit. I bought grippy gloves and a pair of socks because a pet had fallen in love with my yoga mat and I had no room on it to practice. This seemed like the best solution. Now, knit gloves with grippers aren’t completely motion-proof. Your hands will shift slightly in the gloves because the knit fabric gives. However, I have to say doing downward dog in sun salutations with these REALLY makes you focus on your poses. No room for the mind to wander at all. And after a few weeks of mainly using these with my grip socks I have to say, I have noticed a huge increase in how strong I am in my poses because they just won’t let you get lazy with it. I think this was a good thing. Read more

The main problem I face with these gloves is the material that they’re made of. It’s a material that closely resembles the material of a sweater (wool but not so warm). While the warmth of the material is something I can get myself used to, the biggest problem is that since they stretch, and are cutoff at the fingers, they pinch as your hands move forward within the glove. A I started my workout, it started out by feeling a little itchy and by the time I was done with P90X’s Yoga X, it started hurting a lot between the fingers. The grip on these pair of gloves is good; not as good as the Mad grip work gloves but good enough to give you good traction for downward dog. In summary, I want to emphasize the pinching of the glove between the fingers. I read very few reviews and thought to myself, maybe they have sensitive skin. But the grip combined with that material makes it a bad design. Had the material been less stretchy or maybe grippy from within the glove or maybe even full fingered, it would’ve been a good pair of gloves. I’m returning these and am still searching for a good pair of yoga gloves. Read more

I adore these gloves. I use them for everything, not just yoga. If you’re from Louisiana, these are great for a cold Mardi Gras without missing out on catching the good stuff. I’m now in Utah and it’s great for gripping the steering wheel on cold mornings and keeping my hands warm and skin from drying out! Very good quality… this is my second pair! Read more

These are great. My hands get sweaty when I do yoga and it was getting hard to hold some of the positions. These keep my hands in place so I can focus on my poses rather worrying about my hands slipping out of place. Read more
