I received this wedge a few days ago and I was looking forward to it helping to relieve my wrist pain. The problem is it’s too slippery – my hands slide right down off the wedge back onto the floor. Is there any way to “treat” this wedge so that my hands will adhere? Otherwise it’s useless for wrist help. Read more

This block wedge scars and rips easily, but that’s pretty common with yoga blacks made of this material. The main problem is that the wedge is way, way too slippery to use safely. Your hands will immediately slide down. Even if you aren’t sweaty. I might buy a yoga mat and cut and attach pieces on the underside and top of the wedge, which could solve the slippy problem. I might be able to get away with folding my mat over the block and using it that way. I’ll try that next. But that will significantly shorten my mat and make it difficult to get the wedge out of the way when I don’t need it. It’s a shame, because the size of the wedge and angle are really great for my hands, which are a bit arthritic and don’t have as much flexion as they used to. But my practice is very challenging, and I want to avoid injury. I can’t risk a fall or a slip. When the world settles down, I’ll try the yoga mat fix. Read more

I must admit, I did not use this product for stretching or yoga poses. I placed it outside of our doggie door so that my mom’s 3 lb door can easily enter and exit. For that purpose, it is fantastic. For yoga and stretching, I have no idea! 🙂 Read more

I fell and hurt my wrist a few months ago, and the healing was really slow. (It was just a little sprain, but it hurt to do any kind of push-up or downward dog) I got this wedge and have been able to start doing yoga again! Hopefully my wrist will heal soon and I won’t need to continue to use it, but it’s been a huge help! Read more

I’ve got a bad (fused) ankle and had trouble balancing while doing squats, especially when handling weights. This wedge is just the right incline for me. I DO wish that it was larger (wider/longer) but it meets my bare minimum size requirement so that I can have a somewhat wide stance if my feet are just on the edges and my heel slightly goes off the back. I’m a size 12 shoe. Read more

I bought this to relieve pressure in my wrists when I’m practicing yoga and it works well for some poses, but not all. I have fairly small hands and they tend to slide in certain poses. I’ve used grippy gloves a few times to help with that, but it’s not a perfect solution. Still the wedge works well for some poses and is easy to move out of the way when you don’t want to use it. I’m still glad that I bought it. Read more

I got this to help me get back into yoga after I had surgery to repair a few ligament/tendon tears from a work accident and it helps a lot. I did a lot of research to find something to help relieve the pressure from my wrist during certain poses. Its very solid and a bit tough but i put it under my yoga mat and it gives a good amount of cushion. I recommend to anyone that needs to alleviate some of the strain on their wrists. I also heard its good for ankles too. Read more

I purchased this item because I started having carpal tunnel symptoms a few years ago and had to stop doing yoga because so many poses put way too much pressure on my wrists. I am generally very pleased with the wedge. I can finally do yoga again! I do wear wrist supports during practice, and it took a little bit of practice to get the hang of using the wedge without my hands sliding down it too much. I wish I had thought to look for this years ago! Not sure if it would help someone with advanced carpal tunnel, but for me it’s great! Read more
