Pros- Large Bag. Would be great for a carry-on on future trips.- Multiple Straps. Long Shoulder Straps and Adjustable Cross Body Strap. – If you carry heavy maybe invest in a cushion piece for the straps.- Yoga Mat Straps.- Light Weight.- Multiple pockets inside and outside the bag.Cons- If using it as a cross body it can dig in and cut off breathing but this could because I have a large chest and carry heavy.- Yoga Mat Straps aren’t adjustable and slip resistant. Best for yoga mats 5 mm thick and up. If not your mat will fly around and slip out.- If you live in a busy city the yoga mat straps may cause you to be a walking disturbance cause the bag takes up a lot of space.- Bag loses its shape as you dump stuff in. I cut a long piece of a long cardboard box and added it at the bottom for better shape and support.I packed the bag with a lot and it closed with space left but hella heavy! In my picture I packed in the following items:-Work laptop, charger, headset, mouse- 5 Subject notebook- Long Sweater- Yoga Towel & face towel- T-Shirt, Leggings, Sports Bra-Glasses- Q-Tips, body spray, beauty bag- Yoga Mat- 50 Oz Water BottleRecommendation to the manufacture – Add some slip resistance to the yoga straps. Add a flexible cardboard bottom insert to add a bit more structure to the bag.Read more

Reviews looked good so I went ahead and bought it but if you have a Lululemon mat do not buy this product. Your mat will be too heavy and weigh the bag down so much. The bag is light as a feather and is basically flipped upside down with the mat on the side. It’s nearly impossible to walk with. I would have to put a ton of stuff in the actual bag to balance it out but then everything would be twice as heavy.Read more

Bought my bag in May, and it is ripping in multiple places with normal daily use, and it’s September. Bought this to try and save money on a gym bag, but ended up buying a lululemon bag instead anyways since this one is falling apart. Save your money and just buy the lululemon one to start with.Read more

Not sure how I lived without a gym back for so long, lugging around my longchamp back that would double as a gym bag. This bag is heaven sent and I’m so happy I purchased it. It’s very modest, doesn’t scream adidas or Nike on it, which I love. Also it’s very roomy. I tend to carry my sneakers and workout clothes + my breakfast and lunch to work and add snacks. I can throw so much stuff in there including a book and a hoodie and sometimes even my laptop. It’s amazing. Has room for a water bottle and a protein shaker if needed.Read more

The yoga mat holder is just sewn loops which are very impractical. You have to roll up your mat tightly, then slide it into the loops which takes lots of coordination to get it into both holes. I wish the yoga mat straps were equipped with buckles or something to make it easier to insert the mat. It feels ridiculous trying to fit the mat perfectly into the two loops. The long cross-body strap also loosens after you tighten it. Would not recommend.Read more

Excellent bag for the gym and as a carry on for travel. Durable and spacious! I use it for yoga, and recently brought it as a carry on when traveling out of the country. I highly recommended this bag!Read more

Great bag with many pockets. Enough room for a water bottle, shower bag, two pairs of shoes, an extra outfit, and much more! My only gripe is that the yoga mat straps are narrow so I have to wrap my yoga mat at tight as possible for it to fit into the straps. It can be tricky to fit in the straps, but if you wrap your mat as tight as possible, it works.Read more

Cannot fit a thick mat in the straps, which are not adjustable. The bag does not hold its shape either, it just turns into a big unmanageable blob. The bag ripped a few months in with moderate use. Tried to use the warranty, but they were not helpful. Not great customer service from Gaiam. I’d look elsewhere.Read more
