I have been looking for a bag that is pretty simple and has an area to store my valuables. This bag does just that! Its black and fits my maduka Prolite perfectly with lots of room for a towel, etc. The strap is thick too, so I don’t see this bag digging into my shoulder. With my mat in the bag, I feel like the weight is pretty evenly distributed, and the prolite is on the heavier side. I am excited about the mesh pocket on the side to hold a water bottle. This carrier was much cheaper on Amazon when compared to the $40+ price tag elsewhere. I would repurchase. But note, the inside pockets DO NOT have a zipper. I think that is an Amazon typo. Update: this bag also fits my manduka Pro. Just be sure to roll tight. You won’t have much room for many other items in the bag, but you can probably still fit your cell phone and keys. Read more

11.18.18. No interior zipper pocket, but still a perfect yoga bag for me! I think the description is a bit confusing, but lack of a zippered pocket is not a game changer for me. I ride my bike to yoga classes 4-6 days a week, and needed a bag for my mat, small purse, phone, sunglasses, eye pillow, and coffee mug. My red mat is an inexpensive TJ Maxx 72″x24″×1/2″, & fits in easily with my other items – with room left over for a few additional small things. I love that the GoLight3.0 bag is water resistant, and is trim – not too large or bulky. Yes, PERFECT for my needs! 😊 (My new Manduka ProLite yoga mat is arriving soon; I’ll then add a picture of how IT fits into this bag!) Read more

I’ve been practicing yoga consistently for over 6 years now and always encountered the best yoga teachers and gurus using Manduka mats etc. When I saw this bag I thought it must be top-of-the-line because of this. The exterior of the bag on one side has a long mesh-like open pocket I’m guessing for a water bottle or incidentals but could’ve used a smaller zippered pocket instead. Most of us have needs for dedicated pockets to keys, cell phone, lip gloss. Where is this pocket on the bag?!? Also–the interior open pockets just don’t cut it. My small things fall out of this all the time. I’m going to velcro my own zippered pouch inside the mat! I did expect more thought put into the bag though especially for a yoga company. I like the thick strap…most good mats weigh in at 5-9 lbs. and the strap helps make the carrying easier. I go to a yoga studio which does not allow bags in the studio but now I can get away with putting everything in my mat bag…if only I had more zippered compartments! Read more

After trying multiple other bags, this one is pretty much perfect! I’m a yoga teacher so I need a bag that fits a lot: phone, keys, wallet, reusable water bottle, sweat towel, and notebook. The outside pocket is perfect for things you need quickly, like phone and keys, and the inside is big enough for my Lululemon 5mm yoga mat along with my notebook and towel, with plenty of room to spare, both lengthwise and width-wise. The only thing I don’t love about this mat is the strap. It is scratchy, so when I wear tank tops it rubs up against my shoulder. It also feels like it’s too tight, but it does fit if you wear it cross body. Totally worth every penny though! Read more

I use this bag to carry my Manduka Pro and a few other things to Yoga classes. I usually bike and the strap distributes the weight well on my shoulder with no problem. It is waterproof so, I can ride in the rain and my stuff remains dry. Also, when traveling abroad, I ride subways or buses to Yoga classes so, I don’t want a “breathable” bag that could also allow virus germs in. It is built solid, has a simple, effective design, and the fabric is tough. Also, as a guy, I appreciate the fact that it is plain black with no cute, flower designs on it. It has a nice industrial look to it. Read more

Manduka Unisex GO Light Mat Carrier Variegated Stripe One Size I’ve been using this for 3 days a week for about 5 weeks before I noticed the seam started separating. The zipper is a “J” or “L” design where it would open partway down the end to make it easier to get your mat in/out. Much better than a top-only design. There is an exernal mesh pocket to hold keys, and a separate carrying handle on one end of the bag to make it easier to grab and go. I’m out of luck because it’s a week past my eligible return date to the seller, and Manduka says they won’t cover it because I didn’t purchase it directly from Manduka. Even though it says “GO Light”, I was hoping it would last longer than 5 weeks 🙁 Read more

Great bag-I was deciding between this and the Manduka Go Steady 2.0. I wanted a light bag that would carry my towels and hold a few personal items as well and this is PERFECT. I can fit my Manduka Lite Mat, a hand towel, a mat towel, grippy socks for my barre classes and a strap. Oh, and post gym snack-obvi. It’s crazy how it all fits! Deducting one star though because it took me awhile to figure out the best way to fit my mat in and take it out. I noticed that putting the mat in from the top first then the bottom (where the zipper starts) makes it easier. Other than that, I love it. Read more
