    1. Matt

Looks great, functions poorly. For a strap by Manduka this thing is such a flop! The strap is designed in such a way that it will only tighten around your mat when you are carrying it. If you set your mat down the loops loosen and may fall off when you pick the mat up again. This strap is vastly inferior to the Lole velcro strap that came with a $15 mat I bought at Costco. I’m also frustrated that Amazon wants $5.99 for shipping to return this piece of junk. I would not recommend this strap. Go with another one, or with a bag. In any event, make sure whatever strap you go with is constructed in such a way that it won’t significantly loosen if you set the mat down. Read more

Bought this to use with my new manduka mat. It’s sturdy and easy to put on, but since the mat is firm and isn’t easy to roll tightly, the straps don’t stay tight on it. Sometimes I’ll find that the mat and straps have loosened and it’s the size of a sleeping bag. Kinda of awkward to manage when it gets like that. Wish there was a way to tighten the strap and lock it in place so the mat doesn’t unravel. Read more

    3. Been there, tried that

Bought the large size mat from the local studio on sale, but the weight and bulk were a bit of a challenge to carry around. This strap solved all of that, super attractive strap, easy to use once you figure out how it works and comfortable to carry around the heavy mat. Definitely recommended for the thicker full size mats, though it would be handy on any mat Read more

I like this carrier but when i leave my mat in the car it comes unrolled because this strap doesnt hold it tight. I have to re-roll my mat before I go to practice. Read more

I’ve used my Manduka Go Move Mat Carrier for about 3 months now. It’s well made, but the buckles don’t hold well unless there is constant pressure on the strap. The strap routinely loosens and while transporting in my car and falls off when I pick up my mat. Read more

    6. Agix

This one is terrible. The material is too slippery so it doesn’t stay on. It also doesn’t have any shoulder padding so my heavy (wonderful) Manduka mat digs into my shoulder. Read more

Quick and easy to use. Securely holds my mat. No lining up straps that hold you up when your on the go. Also works great to give me the length and stability that I need to complete a pose . Read more

Gave this as a gift and he loved it. It did what he needed it to do without any bells and whistles and was delighted that it worked just how he envisioned it to work. Read more
