Especially liked to lay on it for warmth and padding on cold mat and floor; then use as cover for savanna; plenty long and wide. No problem yet folding and selvage edge is durable vs fringe. Especially useful for shoulder stands and placing across the mat for knees and even folding twice to stretch the quadriceps muscle rather than just the knee. One less star for the quality of the recycled material; first one I bought had long loop of thread exposed, second one had horizontal defect that extended the width of blanket which was noticeable. I like it so much that I exchanged it for a third time with good luck; one of my best purchases. It is so long, yet folded lengthwise you can fold the top for a pillow, lay on the blanket and bring it up over crotch to chin if doing badda konasana with blocks under knees for relaxation…privacy, stretch, and non itch warmthRead more

I was wary to order this blanket because of some reviewers complaining about the smell but went ahead when I noticed that some made a point of saying that there was no smell at all and I am SO glad that I took a chance! This is a perfect yoga blanket! No smell at all and I have already ordered a second one that arrived today and it too has no oder. Perfect weight and density, I LOVE these blankets!Manduka Recycled Wool Blanket, ShadowRead more

I am a Manduka mat lover and this blanket I may love even more than my yoga mat. I use it daily and for car trips with my bf. I LOVE it. It’s wool so it’s a little itchy but not like bothersome at all. My cats can’t hurt it and I think it’s an amazing buy for the price. I have $50 blankets that don’t come close to matching this one. Love love loveRead more

If your only use for the blanket is to sit on it, then kudos to you this is probably the right blanket for you. It’s heavy enough to not move and it is pretty large. Just don’t let any of your skin come in contact with it because it is the most itchy blanket I’ve ever felt. As for the chemical smells, I didn’t notice any. The blanket sort of smelled like freshly printed money which was weird.Read more

I do a lot of yoga but use a couple of these for my car, in case I need some back support or if I am waiting in my car and get cold. They fold up out of the way. I love the durability and construction.Read more

very scratchy, hard to fold, heavy – returned it and replaced with a softer, mexican blanketthis company makes the best yoga mats, so i was disappointed with their blanket.I like the softer mexican blankets for Yoga as they are easier to fold, lighter so easier to maneuver when in a pose, and better price.Excellent quality, just not suited for my yoga needs.Read more

I wanted a blanket like the ones at the yoga studio I go to… but I hate the tassels and the generally poor quality of those. This is a perfect alternative – it’s a sturdy weave (not too open) and has nicely finished edges without those irritating tassels to get in the way and look ratty. Very nice quality!Read more

I love this blanket for yoga. You can fold it up and roll it to create a robust bolster, or you can spread it out and it will cover you completely in savasana. It is excellent knee padding for low lunges. I love that it is mostly recycled materials (wool) and is well bound (new material). It is a little scratchy because it is wool, but it also helps with temperature regulation because it’s wool – neither too hot nor too cold. It is versatile – made to be just about any thickness needed!Read more
